Born in China. After graduating from a university in Japan, Cui joined Fuji Television, the largest commercial broadcaster in Japan. At Fuji TV, Cui worked at the News department as a reporter and covered numerous national issues and news for 12 years. Cui took on a new position in the International Department last year. Since then she has been immersing herself in the field of co-production which she finds very exciting and rewarding. Blessed with many encounters with the industry’s experts and professionals at the international documentary festivals and with her Chinese-language ability, Cui recently completed a documentary co-production with a Taiwanese partner. The program was aired just this past summer. She hopes to meet more new friends and continue working on more international co-production projects.

In 2010 Dena joined the ABC taking up the role of Series Producer for Message Stick. in 2011 she commence her current role as a Commissioning Editor for the Indigenous Department. In 2002 she completed the AFTRS Television Editing course. Dena returned to CAAMA Productions, where some of her editing credits include Rosalie?s Journey, Lore of Love and Cheeky Dog, a documentary in which she also directed. In 2008 Dena wrote/directed Hush, a which won the audience award for Best Foreign Short Film at the 2008 Films de Femmes, Créteil France. In 2009 Dena premiered Jacob, which short won the Gold Shorts at the Adelaide Short Film Festival and Best Narrative Short at the Harlem Film Festival. Attending AIDC on behalf of the Indigenous Department, she is seeking film makers with potiential projects for development and commission.

Pru has worked extensively as an independent production accountant, financial controller, production manager and line producer in the Australian film and television industry. Her more than 20 years' industry experience includes documentary and factual series - BrightSparks for Beyond Productions, A Current Affair - Summer Edition and Michael Willesee's Street Stories for Channel 9 and on one-off documentaries - Cenotaph for the ABC and Bull Sharks in the Backyard for Nat Geo Wild.
