The Foxtel Television Centre at North Ryde in Sydney is the headquarters of Foxtel's national subscription television operations and houses Foxtel’s television studios, broadcast operations and cable and satellite transmission facilities. Established in 2008 TaleFinn Entertainment offers Consultancy and Executive Production services. Clients include Movie Network Channels, Studio Ish, SBS Television, Fremantle Entertainment, Foxtel and Vision Plus Entertainment (Malaysia.) Catherine was previously General Manager, SVP for Nickelodeon Asia where she oversaw distribution, ad sales, marketing and programming. Catherine was responsible for launching new channels in Korea, New Zealand as well as an 8 hour block on Free TV network Global in Indonesia. Before moving to Asia, Catherine was the Managing Director for Nickelodeon Australia where she was responsible for launching Nick Jr. as well as delivering the # 1 Channel and on line portal for kids.

Sydney Film Festival is one of the world's longest-running film festivals, and is a major event on the NSW cultural calendar. The 12-day festival screens feature films, documentaries, short films and animation from around the world in venues across the city including the State Theatre, Event Cinemas George Street, Dendy Opera Quays, the Hayden Orpheum Picture Palace in Cremorne and the Art Gallery of NSW. Jenny Neighbour studied arts in London, working in the arts sector before relocating to Australia. She worked on a variety of Bicentennial art exhibitions, before joining the Sydney Film Festival in 1989. Since then has viewed, programmed, negotiated, judged many hundreds of films, with a particular emphasis on documentary and short films, and curated a number of retrospective programs.

Andrew Ogilvie established independent production company, Electric Pictures, in 1992. Since then he has earned a reputation as one of Australia's leading independent producers of award winning factual programming. Throughout his career Andrew has produced programmes for many of the world's major broadcasters, is an experienced co-producer having worked with French and Italian independent production companies, and maintains very successful co-production relationships with two UK producers. In 2007 Andrew established a post-production facility, Colourbox, and in 2009 formed a distribution company, EP Independent. Andrew also established a Sydney & Toronto Office to broaden the Electric Pictures pool of talent and production opportunities.

Screen Australia is the key Federal Government direct funding body for the Australian screen production industry. Its functions are to support and promote the development of a highly creative, innovative and commercially sustainable Australian screen production industry. In addition Screen Australia administers the Government's Producer Offset and International Co-production Program to increase the commercial sustainability of production in Australia.

Screen Australia was created under the Screen Australia Act 2008 and from 1 July 2008 took over the functions and appropriations of its predecessor agencies: the Australian Film Commission (AFC), the Film Finance Corporation Australia (FFC) and Film Australia Limited.

Serge is Creative Director and co-founder of Bearcage.  He was born in Geneva with parents of French, Armenian, Chinese and Russian background; he was educated in the United States before settling in Australia.

Serge has a diverse and successful career as a director and has received many awards for his work.  Most recently, Serge completed the award winning feature documentary The Digger ? A History. Other projects include Blessed Mary and For Valour, both of which were the History Channels highest rating programs in their year of broadcast and the $1.5m multi-media theatre experience Circa for the National Museum of Australia.  As a drama director, his work includes many award winning shorts including Shockwaves (2008) which was selected in Official Competition in the Tampere, Boston, St Kilda and Revelations International Film Festivals and was nominated for 4 awards including best film and best director at the St Kilda Film Festival.

Pilar began her career in television working as a freelancer on various UK productions including Channels 4’s Big Breakfast, Hotel Babylon, after which she spent 10 years at Zenith Entertainment where she grew to become Commercial Director working in all genres including, dramas 2000 Acres of sky, Class of 76, and SMTV:CD:UK, driving the international rollout of the format and licensing the brand and content. 

Pilar joined international distributor DCD Rights in 2009 as Head of Acquisitions and has since contributed to securing a wide range of acquisition totalling over 200 hours.

Working closely with CEO Nicky Davies Williams Pilar has helped secure high profile drama including most recently Mr & Mrs Murder, The Slap, Rake as well as factual series including I Found the Gown, the Coast Guard franchise, and Parole Diaries. Pilar’s network covers in addition to the UK Australia and NZ, USA and Canada, and her expertise encompasses all aspects of the acquisition process from development stage to the point of commission.

Real to Reel Productions, helmed by Bill Spahic and Anne Pick,  produces award winning films with compelling stories, strong characters, across a broad spectrum of subjects from series to docs to features.

Their latest film ANIMISM:PEOPLE WHO LOVE OBJECTS premiered last September and is enoying worldwide sales including Australia. Current production includes: ECCENTRICS and NO LIMITS both feature docs directed by Academy Award winner John Zaritsky respectively celebrating people who dance to the beat of their own drum and according to a study live longer, happier, healthier lives than the rest of us and the thalidomide survivors still fighting for justice 50 years after this crippling drug was released internationally. Their German co-production GAMBLING ON EXTINCTION is also about to go into production. Real to Reel also has signed four co-pro agreements, two in 3D, with Norm Wilkinson’s Visionquest in Queensland and look forward to launching them later in the year.

Anne Pick is an award-winning independent producer, director and story-editor. Her passion for story telling began as a teenager writing for her father‚'s country newspaper in South Australia. This led to a career in print and television journalism in Australia and Canada then as an independent filmmaker based in Toronto. Under her company banner Real to Reel Productions. Anne has a reputation for engaging and popular films and series. Learning to write from the front to the back pages of a newspaper ingrained an interest in all kinds of stories from social and political issues, to history, performing arts, science and natural history. Real to Reel is currently involved in several International co-productions, specifically with Australia and Germany in both 2D and 3D. Anne was a founding Board member and former co-chair of Hot Docs and is currently Co-Vice Chair of DOC Canada and on the board of Imaginative.

Harriet is a Senior Producer at Canberra based production Company Bearcage. She joined the Company in 2011 following on from five years experience working as a distributor and producer at Ronin Films where she had responsibility for acquisitions, business development and documentary production. Harriet has a Bachelor of Business from Griffith University and a Masters of Liberal Arts from the Australian National University. In her role as producer, completed documentary projects from her time at Ronin Films include Chinese Australian co-production Across the Plateau (Adelaide Film Festival 2009), The Chifleys of Busby Street (Brisbane International Film Festival 2008) and Emily In Japan (2009, ABC).
