Sydney Film Festival is one of the world's longest-running film festivals, and is a major event on the NSW cultural calendar. The 12-day festival screens feature films, documentaries, short films and animation from around the world in venues across the city including the State Theatre, Event Cinemas George Street, Dendy Opera Quays, the Hayden Orpheum Picture Palace in Cremorne and the Art Gallery of NSW. SFF also takes place at Apple Store Sydney, SFFTV @ Martin Place and Grasshopper Lounge.

CONTENT SEEKER

Jenny Neighbour studied arts in London, working in the arts sector before relocating to Australia. She worked on a variety of Bicentennial art exhibitions, before joining the Sydney Film Festival in 1989. Since then has viewed, programmed, negotiated, judged many hundreds of films, with a particular emphasis on documentary and short films, and curated a number of retrospective programs.
